Conexión Media Group (CMG) has a mission in our region to lead, support or partner with different organizations that aim to unite people, to keep history, art, and culture alive! This past May 18 in Tallahassee, we were honored to host the Welcome Reception for OST100 and thank Deborah Desilets and Charlotte Kahl for giving us that opportunity.

I extend an additional thanks to Erika Rojas, our representative in Tallahassee, to Ben Gunter and his TWAM actors, and to Dr. Maria Pouncey and the staff and kids from PAEC for always being willing to take part in such events with us.

Thanks also to Reid Soria and his parents Rick and Jo for the always enjoyable and classy presentations Reid makes! It was indeed a wonderful event as described in the related article by Deborah Desilets that we publish in this edition.

This month, CMG is proud to be a media sponsor of the great 10^th Annual Latin Salsa Festival organized by Jose Garcia of the NW Boricuas Ausentes. Our admiration and respect to Jose and his group for putting together such a great event and keeping UNITY flowing via their Festival!

Sometimes it’s nice to put in text just to get an idea of how text will fill in a space on your website.

Traditionally our industry has used Lorem Ipsum, which is placeholder text written in Latin. Unfortunately, not everyone is familiar with Lorem Ipsum and that can lead to confusion. I can’t tell you how many times clients have asked me why their website is in another language!

There are other placeholder text alternatives like Hipster Ipsum, Zombie Ipsum, Bacon Ipsum, and many more. While often hilarious, these placeholder passages can also lead to much of the same confusion.

If you’re curious, this is Website Ipsum. It was specifically developed for the use on development websites. Other than being less confusing than other Ipsum’s, Website Ipsum is also formatted in patterns more similar to how real copy is formatted on the web today.
